We have had another busy week, working on our number bonds, counting on to add and exploring toys in the past. We have also been looking at books by Shirley Hughes.
What a wonderful day spent at the Castle! Such a range of fascinating exhibitions to enjoy and plenty to explore... the Castle Keep and Natural History Galleries being particular favourites. We also got to have a little Maths session in the souvenir shop where the children bought some wonderful keepsakes and old fashioned toys. Here is a snippet of the excitement...
We will be looking at the artist Andy Warhol over the next few weeks, so if you would like to do any research at home we would love to hear all about it.
