House Cross Country
Regrettably our house cross country event had to be cancelled this week due to parts of the course being frozen and other parts being waterlogged.
We have rearranged to Monday 9th February 1.30 - 3.15pm on top field
ALL CHILDREN SHOULD COME TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY DRESSED IN THEIR FULL SCHOOL GAMES KIT, AND IT IS ADVISED THAT THEY HAVE WARM LAYERS UNDERNEATH.
This includes: Clean shoes to come to school in and TRAINERS TO RUN IN (in a named bag), PE shorts with black/Navy tracksuit bottoms over (leggings underneath are also suitable), school polo shirt with school rugby shirt over the top (dark skins or a thermal top underneath are also suitable), school fleece, hat and gloves.
This event is the culmination of all the children's hard work in PE and is a great opportunity for them all to compete and support their houses. In the event that they are too ill to run, please email me on mhood@thlps.co.uk before 11am on Monday so I can recalculate the house teams to make the event fair.
Our PTA will be serving hot drinks and cakes to raise funds so please bring some change if you are able to come and spectate.
After Monday's event, I will select our cross country team to compete in our INVITATION CROSS COUNTRY EVENT ON WEDNESDAY 11TH FEBRUARY. If your child is selected to run, I will email you on Tuesday to inform you.
