We have made story stones, depicting each of the different events in chapter 1 of Tom's book. The children have loved telling their stories over and over again, using more adventurous vocabulary with every version! We have since been very busy writing these stories, and my-oh-my have Miss Loaker and I been impressed! Year 1 are all incredibly inspired by this story... one of my wonderfuls has even named his teddy after the main character, Swampy!
